Hi. I am trying to set up a golf league on your site. Is there a way to put in handicaps that we have already have, then let the site compute from there? | Author: Kyle 14 years ago 2011-03-25 |
Yes and no. Handicaps are normally the average strokes over par using the last so many rounds of play. So, yes you can switch to manual handicaps to use the existing handicaps. But, as new rounds are played there is no information about the old rounds. Therefore the automatic handicaps will not calculate correctly. If you wish to use automatic handicaps, the easiest is to enter the scores from last year. Just the gross score. You do not need to enter the scorecards from last year. On the player's detail page, at the bottom is a button labeled "Add Old Score". This allows you to enter the player's gross score and par for each round played last year. You only need to enter the scores needed to calculate handicap. If your league only uses the last ten rounds. Then only enter the last ten rounds. Please let me know if this answers your question. And we want your feedback. | Author: Brian H LeagueSync 14 years ago 2011-03-25 |
