| In our league, we have traditionally only maintained the integer handicaps (rounding up/down as necessary). We associate the best player, based on hcp, on one team to play the best player on the other. Since we only use the integer hcp, quite often we have team members having the same hcp. in order to differentiate the two players we then look at the triple bogey score, and then at total points each player has won thus far.
